On the morning of April 25, 2025, a 12-member delegation from the National Council of Churches of Singapore (NCCS) visited CCC&TSPM. They were received by Rev. Xu Xiaohong, chairperson of National TSPM, Rev. Wu Wei, president of CCC, Rev. Dr. Lin Manhong, vice president and general secretary of CCC, Rev. Geng Weizhong, residential vice president of CCC, Mr. Gu Mengfei, secretary general of National TSPM, along with other colleagues from CCC&TSPM. The two sides engaged in discussions on several topics.

The meeting was moderated by Rev. Dr. Lin Manhong, who welcomed the delegation on behalf of CCC&TSPM. She affirmed the long-standing interaction and friendship between the churches in both China and Singapore. Representing the delegation, Bishop Lu Guan Hoe, president of the NCCS and the bishop of the Lutheran Church in Singapore, expressed gratitude for the warm reception by CCC&TSPM, hoping that the visit would continue to foster mutual friendship and strengthen the connection between the two sides.

During the meeting, Rev. Wu Wei briefed on the basic situation of CCC&TSPM and its department structure, reminiscing about the long history of interactions between the churches in the two countries. Rev. Wu also extended gratitude for the support and assistance from Singapore churches to the Church in China. Rev. Xu Xiaohong introduced four major ministries undertaken by the Church in China in recent years: the Chinanization of Christianity, church governance in accordance with laws and regulations, cultivation of church personnel, and the post-pandemic pastoral care.

Rev. Dr. Ngoei Foong Nghian, secretary general of the NCCS, gave a brief overview of the NCCS and hoped to learn from the valuable experiences of their Chinese counterparts in church development through this visit to China. The Right Reverend Titus Chung, vice chairperson of the NCCS and the archbishop of the Province of the Anglican Church in South East Asia, praised the efforts of the Church in China in the Chinanization ministry. In his talk, he placed importance on restoring face-to-face interactions in the post-pandemic era, reckoning that concerted and continuous efforts from both sides were required to maintain a healthy relationship.
